The first annual Neon Paint party came to life in July of 2011 at Wet ‘N’ Wild Waterworld, El Paso, TX. Two young promoters came together with just under a month to plan and promote the dance event.
They had the goal of reaching 500-1000 people. By utilizing little more than an aggressive social media strategy and a street team passing out flyers for this massive paint party, the turnout proved to be a total success!
In fact, lines of people waiting to get into this party at Wet ‘N’ Wild continued until just before 11PM with the party scheduled to end at midnight!
That night approximately 3,000 people were in attendance – a response that led to Wet ‘N’ Wild’s decision to make The Neon Paint Party an annual event that will only continue to grow bigger and better each year!
